William III De was born about 1152 in Great Torrington, Devonshire, Eng.  William III De's father was Sir William II Baron De Torrington Sir and his mother was Mrs. William 1134 Torrington.  His paternal grandparents were Sir William I Baron De Torrington Sir and Mrs. William 1109 De Torrington. He had a sister named Mabel De.  He was the older of the two children.
