Isabel Elizabeth de was born about 1081 in Valois now Oise, Picardy, France.  Isabel Elizabeth de's father was Hugh de Crepi Magnus , Duke of Burgundy and her mother was Adelaide de Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry I King of France and Anna Agnesa Yaroslavna of Kiev; her maternal grandparents were Herbert IV Count of Vermandois and Adela de Vexin. She had five sisters named Emma Avice de, Constance de, Maud Matilda de, Agnes de and Beatrice de.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died before July 1147 in Priory of Lewes, Sussex, England.

‌Isabel Elizabeth de and Robert I de were married in a religious ceremony in 1096.  They had two sons and five daughters, named Robert II de, Waleran de, Adeline de, Isabel Elizabeth de, Eleanor de, Alice de and Maud de.

‌Isabel Elizabeth de and William de were married in a religious ceremony about 1118 in France.  They had two sons and two daughters, named William de, Reginald de, Ada de and Gundred de.
