Adela de was born in 1032 in Valois now Oise, Picardy, France. Adela de's father was Raoul III "The Great" Count of Valois & Vexin and her mother was Adele de Bar-Sur-Aube. She had two sisters named Alix de and Hawise de. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 48 in 1080.
