Aubrey de was born about 1339 in Oxfordshire, England. Aubrey de's father was John de Vere , 7th Earl of Oxford and his mother was Maud de Badlesmere. His paternal grandparents were Alfonso de Vere , of Great Hormead, Sir Knight and Joan Foliot; his maternal grandparents were Bartholomew IV 1st Baron de Badlesmere , Sir and Margaret de Clare. He had two sisters named Elizabeth de and Margaret de. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died on April 23rd, 1400 in Hadleigh, Essex, England.General Notes
