Adeliza Alice De was born about 1129 in Hedingham, Essex, England.  Adeliza Alice De's father was (Justicar Of England) Aubrey II Alberic De Vere (Justicar Of England) and her mother was [A Nun] Adeliza (Alice) De Clare [A Nun].  Her paternal grandparents were (Sheriff &  Chambertain) Aubrey Alberic "The Monk"  De Vere (Sheriff &  Chambertain) and Mrs. Beatrice (Beatrix) (Nmn-Mrs. De) Vere; her maternal grandparents were Gilbert Fitz Richard De Clare [Earl Hertford] and Adeliza De Clermont. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Robert De, Aubrey III De, William De, Geoffery De, Gilbert De, Rohese De, Clemence De, Juliana De and Alice De.  She died after 1185 in Warkworth Castle, Alnwick, Northumberland, England.
