Hermann Count of Verdun

Hermann Count of was born about 0964 in Verdun, Meuse, Lorraine, France.  Hermann Count of's father was Godfrey de Verdun , Marquis Antwerp and his mother was Mathilde Billung of Saxony.  His maternal grandparents were Hermann Billung Duke of Saxony and Hildegardis. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Gozelon I Duke of Lower, Frederick de, Adelheid of, Regilla de, Gerberge of, Ermentrude de and Irmgard de.  He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers named Arnold II Count of and Jean de.  He died on May 28th, 1029.
