Adelheid of Lorraine

Adelheid of was born about 0958 in Lorraine, France.  Adelheid of's father was Godfrey de Verdun , Marquis Antwerp and her mother was Mathilde Billung of Saxony.  Her maternal grandparents were Hermann Billung Duke of Saxony and Hildegardis. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Hermann Count of, Gozelon I Duke of Lower, Frederick de, Regilla de, Gerberge of, Ermentrude de and Irmgard de.  She was the oldest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers named Arnold II Count of and Jean de.  She died before 0979.
