Bouchard I de was born about 0939 in Anjou, France.  Bouchard I de's father was Foulques II "Le Bon" Comte d' Anjou and his mother was Gerberga de Gatinais. He had a brother and two sisters, named Geoffrey I Grisegonelle Comte d', Agnes d' and Adelaide (Blanche\Arsinde\Adele) d'.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died in 0992 in Vendome, Loir-et-Cher, Orleanais/Centre, France.
