Gerard I Count of Vaudemont

Gerard I Count of was born in 1057 in Lorraine, France.  Gerard I Count of's father was Gerhard IV Duke of Alsace Upper Lorraine and his mother was Hadwide de Namur. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thierry II Duke of Alsace, Dietrich II Duke of Upper and Beatrice de.  He was the second youngest of the four children.  He died about 1120.
