Eleanor de Turnham , Heir of Great Berwick 
Eleanor de was born about 1193 in Great Berwick near Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. Eleanor de's father was Stephen de Turnham , of Artington & Berwick and her mother was Edeline de Broc , Heiress of Artington. Her paternal grandfather was Robert de Turnham; her maternal grandparents were Randolph de Broc , of Angmering & Artington and Damietta de Gorram. She had two sisters named Clemence de and Beatrice de. She was the youngest of the three children. She died before 1220.General Notes
Many sources have a daughter of Stephen by the name of Alianore (which is the same as Eleanor) who m. Ralph FitzBernard. It turns out that the wife of Ralph was a granddaughter, not daughter, of Stephen & Edeline.

He [Roger de Leyburn] married, in or before 1219, Eleanor, youngest daughter and coheir of his guardian, Stephen DE THURNHAM, by Edeline, daughter and coheir of Ranulf DE BROC (n). With her he had the manor of Great Berwick in Shropshire. She was dead by 1220. He married, 2ndly, Agnes, widow of Henry DE MINERS, of co. Hereford. He died circa 1251.
