Robert I Comte de Meaux & was born about 0920 in Vermandois, Normandy, France.  Robert I Comte de Meaux &'s father was Herbert II Count of Troyes & Vermandois and his mother was Liegarde Princess of France. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Albert I "The Pious" Count of, Renaud I Seigneur de, Sprota Adela de, Alix de and Luitgarde de.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died on August 29th, 0968.
