Ralph de Stourton, son and heir, in 1284-5 and in 1303 was holding a fee in Chilcompton of Hugh Lovel of the fee of Castle Cary; and in 1291 held a knight's fee in Stourton with the advowson of the church from Hugh Lovel. [Complete Peerage XII/1:297]
