Sir John de Soothill, of Soothill, co. Yorks. & c., probably son of 1. above. He demised his land in Moulbreck for 10 years in return for an annual rent of 5 marks, 15 Edw. I (1286/7). [3] Witness to an undated deed (est. 1260-87) relating to Osberton, co. Notts. together with Sir William de Furnival and others. Deceased before 3 Edw II (1309/10), at which time his younger son Henry had succeeded his eldest son and heir William. [John Ravilious, SGM, 6 Nov 2002]
