Ralph De was born on September 24th, 1301 in Tunbridge, Stafford, England.  Ralph De's father was Edmund de STAFFORD Baron of Staffrd and his mother was Margaret BASSETT.  His paternal grandparents were Nicholas STAFFORD and Alionore de forze langley; his maternal grandparents were Ralph BASSETT Baron Basset and Hawise de GREY. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Jacobus De, William, Humphrey, Elizabeth De, Catherine De, Mary and Margaret De.  He was the oldest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Margaret.  He died at the age of 70 on August 31st, 1372 in England.  He was buried on August 31st, 1372 in Tonburton Priory, England.
