Margaret De was born about 1319 in Stafford, Staffordshire, England.  Margaret De's father was Hugh de AUDLEY Earl of Gloucester and her mother was Margaret de CLARE COUNTESS OF GLOUCESTER & HERTFORD.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh de AUDLEY Baron Audley, heir of all his brothers and Isolde (or Iseude) de MORTIMER; her maternal grandparents were Gilbert "the Red Earl" de CLARE EARL OF GLOUCESTER & HERTFORD and Joan "of Acre" of ENGLAND COUNTESS OF GLOUCESTER & HERTFORD. She had a sister named Alice.  She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-sister named Amy De.  She died on September 7th, 1347 in England.  She was buried in Priory, Tunbridge, Kent, England.
