Anne was born in 1714 in Vale, Guernsey, Channel Islands.  Anne's father was Jean SEBIRE and her mother was Collette FERBRACHE.  Her paternal grandparents were Jean SEBIRE and Anne COUZIN; her maternal grandparents were Nicolas FERBRACHE and Martha PASTOUREL(?). She had five brothers and three sisters, named Jean, Jonathon, Daniel, Nicolas, Pierre, Collette, Marthe and Judith.  She was the second oldest of the nine children.
