Margred verch Rhys

Margred verch was born in 1075 in Wales.  Margred verch's father was Rhys ap Tewdwr , King of Deheubarth and her mother was Gwladus verch Rhiwallon.  Her paternal grandfather was Tewdwr "Mawr-The Great" ap Cadell , King S. Wales; her maternal grandfather was Rhiwallon ap Cynfyn , Prince of Powys. She had a brother and a sister, named Gruffudd ap and Nest verch.  She was the youngest of the three children. She had two half-brothers named Hywel ap and Llewelyn Ddiriaid ap.

They had a daughter named Gwerful verch.
