Cadell Ap Rhodri 
Cadell Ap was born about 0861 in Deheubarth, Wales. Cadell Ap's father was Rhodri Mawr Ap Merfyn and his mother was Angharad Verch Meurig. He had two brothers and a sister, named Anarawd Ap, Merfyn Ap and Nest Verch. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died in 0910.General Notes

nephew Llewelyn and seized the Kingdom of Powys. He had a son, Hywel (Howell)."
Cadell was the first in the Deheubarth branch of the family.

Cadell ap Rhodri Mawr resided at Dynefor. He ruled from about 878 to his death
in about 909 or 910. He had other children in addition to Hywel Dda and
Clydog.
