Joseph ROOT

Joseph was born on July 13th, 1732 in N. Coventry, Connecticut.  Joseph's father was Eliakin ROOT and his mother was Jemima ELLES.  His paternal grandfather was Thomas ROOT. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Medad, Jonathon, Marjam and Jemima.  He was the oldest of the five children.

‌Joseph and Silence were married in a religious ceremony on December 20th, 1753.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Billy, Elijah, Jerusha and Naomi.
