Jonathon ROOT

Jonathon was born on June 18th, 1742 in N. Coventry, Connecticut.  Jonathon's father was Eliakin ROOT and his mother was Jemima ELLES.  His paternal grandfather was Thomas ROOT. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Medad, Marjam and Jemima.  He was the second youngest of the five children.
