Elizabeth was born in 1333 in Rednesse, Yorkshire, Eng.  Elizabeth's father was Geoffrey Pigot and her mother was Johanna De Hawkswell.  Her paternal grandparents were Randolf Pigot and Emma De Clotheram; her maternal grandparents were Thomas De Hawkswell and Mrs. Thomas 1278 Hawkswell. She had three brothers and a sister, named Randolph, William, John and Alicia.  She was the youngest of the five children.
