Henry Percy XI Baron Percy 
Henry Percy XI Baron was born in 1322 in Alnwick, Northumberland, England. Henry Percy XI Baron's father was Henry De Percy X Baron Percy and his mother was Idoine De Clifford. His paternal grandparents were Henry Percy IX Baron Percy and Eleanor FitzAlan; his maternal grandparents were Robert De Clifford I Lord Clifford and Maud De Clare. He had four sisters named Margaret, Eleanor, Isabella and Maud. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 46 on June 17th, 1368.General Notes
Henry Percy, 3rd Lord of Alnwick and 11th Baron Percy by Tenure, was a very small man, but it said this little knight was loyal, brave and kindly-hearted and of so generous a mind that he coveted not the lands of others, but was satisfied with those he had inherited. When only 14 he was contracted to Lady Maud Plantagenet, daughter of Henry, Earl of Lancaster, 2nd son of Edmund, Duke of Lancaster, and his wife Blanche, Queen of Navarre (daughter of Robert of Artois, son of Louis VIII, King of France), son of Henry III. This was the second marriage of a Percy with a member of the Royal Family in a period of little over half a century. From boyhood upward he was his father's constant companion, on field and foray, acting as a page, esquire and lieutenant to his father, that scourge of the Scots. He was in France at the Battle of Crecy and returned to take part in the victory of Nevill's Cross, where he rushed ahead of his men, and they upon sight of so much courage in so small a soldier followed shouting upon his heels, and the day was won.
