Frethesant was born in 1170 in Hooton Pagnell, West Ride Yorkshire, England. Frethesant's father was William Paynel , of Hooton Pagnell and her mother was Frethesanda de Munchensy. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Paynel and Agnes Fossard; her maternal grandparents were Warin de Munchensy , of Gooderstone, Sir and Agnes FitzJohn , Heiress of Swanscombe. She was an only child. She died at the age of 70 in 1240.General Notes
