Malcolm III "Canmore" "Longneck" was born in 1031 in Atholl, Perthshire. Scotland and his baptism took place on April 25th, 1058 in Scone Abbey, Perthshire, Scotland.  Malcolm III "Canmore" "Longneck"'s father was 50th King Duncan I MacCrinan "The Gracious" Of The Scots OF SCOTLAND and his mother was Aelflaed OF NORTHUMBRIA.  His paternal grandparents were Crinan, Abbot of Dunkeld OF SCOTLAND and Princess Beatrix of Scone MACKENNETH OF SCOTLAND; his maternal grandfather was Jarl Bjorn "The Dane" Of Denmark BEARSSON. He had a brother named Donald Ban III Of Scots.  He was the older of the two children. He had two half-brothers named Maelmuir OF ATHOLL and Duncan.  He died at the age of 62 on November 13th, 1093 in Alnwick Castle, Northunberland, England.  He was buried in Holy Trinity Church, Dunfremline, Fifeshire, Scotland.
