David I was born in 1084. David I's father was 54th King Malcolm III "Canmore" "Longneck" OF SCOTLAND and his mother was Saint/Queen Margaret "The Exile" OF SCOTLAND. His paternal grandparents were 50th King Duncan I MacCrinan "The Gracious" Of The Scots OF SCOTLAND and Aelflaed OF NORTHUMBRIA; his maternal grandparents were Prince Edward Atherling"The Outlaw" Of England and Princess/ Agatha Of England OF HUNGARY. He had two sisters named Matilda(Edith) "Atheling" and Mary. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Duncan II Of Scots. He died at the age of 69 in 1153 in Carlisle. He was buried in Scone, Perthshire, England.-
