Count Baldwin V OF FLANDERS

Baldwin V was born in 1012.  Baldwin V's father was Count Baldwin IV "Fair Beard" OF FLANDERS and his mother was Otgive DE LUXEMBOURG.  His paternal grandparents were Arnold II The Young Count OF FLANDERS and Princess Rosele Susanna OF ITALY; his maternal grandparents were Count Frederick I OF LUXEMBURG and Countess Ermentrude VON GLEIBERG Irmtrud. He had two sisters named Ermengarde and Judith Fausta.  He was the second oldest of the three children.

They had two sons and a daughter, named Baldwin VI "The Peaceable" And Artois, Robert IV "Le Frison" and Matilda.
