Princess Gerberga OF BURGANDY 
Gerberga was born in 0959. Gerberga's father was King Conrad III OF BURGUNDY and her mother was Princess Matilde OF FRANCE. Her maternal grandparents were King Louis IV "Transmarinus" OF FRANCE and Princess/ Gerberge OF GERMANY. She had two sisters named Mathilda and Bertha. She was the second oldest of the three children.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
