Count Norcher II OF BAR-SUR-AUBE 
Norcher II's father was Count Norcher I OF BAR-SUR-AUBE. His paternal grandparents were Archard OF FERTE-SUR-AUBE and Acharda OF BAR-SUR-AUBE. He was an only child. Norcher II is no longer alive.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
They had two sons named Renaud and Nocher III.
