Ermengarde Of Brittany was born in 0952.  Ermengarde Of Brittany's father was Count Geoffrey I "Grisgonelle" "greymantel" Of Aujou DE ANJOU and her mother was Adelaide DE VERMANDOIS.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Fulk II "The Good" Macon And Nevers OF ANJOU and Gerberge Of The Gatinais DU MAINE. She had a brother and two sisters, named Fulk III "The Black" Of Aujou, Adelais and Gerberge Grisgronelle Of Angouleme.  She was the oldest of the four children.
