Judicael was born in 0975.  Judicael's father was Duke Conan I "The Crooked" Of Brittany LE TORT and his mother was Douchess Ermengarde Of Brittany OF ANJOU.  His paternal grandparents were Juheal Berenger DE RENNES and Gerberge DE BRETAGNE; his maternal grandparents were Count Geoffrey I "Grisgonelle" "greymantel" Of Aujou DE ANJOU and Adelaide DE VERMANDOIS. He had a brother and a sister, named Geoffrey BRETAGNE and Judith Of Brittany.  He was the second oldest of the three children.
