Tadhg (Teige) was born about 0973 in Clare, Munster, Ireland.  Tadhg (Teige)'s father was Brian Borum Na Munster , King of Ireland and his mother was Eachraidh Ui Aeda Odba.  His paternal grandparents were Cineadh Na Munster and Be Bind O'Flaherty; his maternal grandfather was Charllus Ui Aeda Odba. He had a sister named Slani.  He was the older of the two children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Donnchad Ua, Tadg Mac Gillapatrick Na and Aife Na.  He died in 1022.
