Magnus I "The Good" King of was born about 1018 in Norway.  Magnus I "The Good" King of's father was St Olaf II "The Fat" King of Norway and his mother was Astrid of Sweden.  His paternal grandparents were Harald "The Greenlander" Underking of Vestfold and Estrid (Asta) of Uplands; his maternal grandparents were Olaf III Eriksson King of Sweden and Astrid of Obotrites.  He was an only child.  He died on October 25th, 1047.
