Adelaide of was born before 1030 in Normandy, France.  Adelaide of's father was Robert I "The Magnificent" Duke of Normandy and her mother was Herleve (Arlette) de Falaise.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard II "The Good" Duke of Normandy and Judith of Brittany; her maternal grandparents were Fulbert de Falaise and Doda. She had a brother named William I "The Conqueror" King of.  She was the younger of the two children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Robert de, Odo Bishop of, Emma de, Muriel de and Miss de.  She died before 1090.
