Ralph was born about 1111 in Broughton Poggs, Witney, Oxfordshire, England.  Ralph's father was Sir Ralph Meurdach Sir.  His paternal grandfather was Sir Richard Fitzmeurdach Sir. He had two brothers named Geoffrey and Brother Of Geoffrey.  He was the youngest of the three children.  Ralph is no longer alive.
