William III de Munchensy , of Edwardstone, Sir 
William III de was born in 1278 in Edwardstone, Cosford, Suffolk, England. William III de's father was William II de Munchensy , of Edwardstone, Sir and his mother was Beatrice de Beauchamp. His maternal grandparents were William Baron de Beauchamp , of Bedford, Sir and Ida (Idonea) Longespee. He had a half-sister named Maud. He died before November 16th, 1318.General Notes
WILLIAM III DE MUNCHENSY, only son and heir, aged 24 in 1302, had livery of his father's lands in October. He had done military service in his father's lifetime, and in 1303 was serving with Prince Edward in Scotland; in 1309, as the King's yeoman, he was on service beyond seas, and was summoned again that year for military service against the Scots. In 1315 he was allowed to levy a scutage on his tenants. He married Alice, whose parentage has not been ascertained. He died shortly before 16 November 1318.
