Robert III de was born about 1120 in Vitre, Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany, France. Robert III de's father was Robert II de Vitre and his mother was Emma de la Guerche. His paternal grandparents were Andre Seigneur de Vitre and Agnes de Mortaigne. He was an only child. He died on November 11th, 1173.General Notes
