Ralph de Munchensy 
Ralph de was born after 1149 in Gooderstone, Swaffham, Norfolk, England. Ralph de's father was Warin de Munchensy , of Gooderstone, Sir and his mother was Agnes FitzJohn , Heiress of Swanscombe. He had a brother and two sisters, named William de, Frethesanda de and Alice de. He was the oldest of the four children. He died before September 29th, 1190 in (dsp).General Notes
RALPH DE MUNCHENSY, son and heir, was a minor at his father's death, knighted about 1170, and seemingly of age not long afterwards. He and his sister Alice (who possibly married Robert de Mortimer), as well as their mother and stepfather, made deeds of grant of the advowson of Hockham, Norfolk, to Oseney Abbey. He confirmed grants in Little Melton to Wymondham Priory, and witnessed a charter of his overlord the Earl of Arundel to that house; and also confirmed his mother's gift of a windmill at Dinton, Bucks, to Godstow. Between 1174 and 1176, as the King's faithful knight, he received from Henry II the grant of a weekly market at Gooderstone. For his marrying contrary to the King's will all his lands were forfeited for a short time, but returned to him with the exception of Winfarthing. The name of his wife is not known.
