Alice de was born about 1160 in Montferrat, Italy. Alice de's father was William V Margrave of Montferrat and her mother was Judith von Babenberg of Austria. Her paternal grandmother was Gisela of Burgundy. She had two brothers and a sister, named Boniface I de, Conrad Marquis de and Beatrix de. She was the youngest of the four children. She died after July 22nd, 1201.-
