Marared verch Madog 
Marared verch was born about 1129 in Powys-Vadoc, Wales. Marared verch's father was Madog ap Maredudd , King of Powys and her mother was Susanna verch Gruffudd. She had a brother and a sister, named Gruffudd "Maelor" ap and Gwenllian verch. She was the oldest of the three children.
‌Marared verch and Iorwerth Drwyndwn ap were married in a religious ceremony about 1163. They had a son named Llewelyn ap.
