Gwenllian verch Madog 
Gwenllian verch was born about 1131 in Overton-Madoc, Flintshire, Wales. Gwenllian verch's father was Madog ap Maredudd , King of Powys and her mother was Susanna verch Gruffudd. She had a brother and a sister, named Gruffudd "Maelor" ap and Marared verch. She was the second oldest of the three children.
