Beatrice de was born in 1143 in France. Beatrice de's father was Raynald III Count de Macon , Count of Burgundy and her mother was Agathe de Lorraine. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen (Etienne) "Tete Hardi" Comte de Macon and Beatrice de Lorraine; her maternal grandparents were Simon I Duke de Lorraine and Adelheid de Louvain. She was an only child. She died at the age of 41 on November 15th, 1184.-
