Eva (Aoife) was born about 1141 in Leinster, Ireland.  Eva (Aoife)'s father was Diarmait Na-Ngall Dermont Na-Ngall , King of Leinster/MacMurrough and her mother was Mor More O'Toole.  Her paternal grandparents were Enna (Edna) MacMurchad , King of Leinster and Unknown Queen of Leinster; her maternal grandparents were Muitchartach Murcertac O'Toole and Cacht NicLoigsech Inghin O'Morda. She had a sister named Urlachan.  She was the older of the two children.  She died in 1177.

‌Eva (Aoife) and Richard "Strongbow" Fitzgilbert were married in a religious ceremony on August 26th, 1171 in Port Lairge (Waterford), Ireland.  They had two daughters named Isabel Fitzgilbert and Joan.
