William De was born about 1258 in Of, Wigmore, Herefordshire, England.  William De's father was Roger de MORTIMER and his mother was Maud De BRAOSE. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Ralph De, Edmund De, Geoffrey De, Roger De, Alicia, Isabella De, Isolde (or Iseude) de and Margaret.  He was the third youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named William De.  He died in 1297 in dsp.
