Bertrea was born in 1194. Bertrea's father was Ralph DE MAINWARING SENESCHAL and her mother was Amicia DE MESCHINES. Her paternal grandparents were Roger DE MAINWARING and Ellen; her maternal grandparents were 6th Earl Hugh Of Chester DE KEVELIOCK and Betrade DE MONTFORD. She was an only child. She died at the age of 55 in 1249.General Notes
Founded the first 5 Royal Tribes and restored the Crown ofGweynedd in 1081. Was imprisoned by the Normans in Chester in1081-1093 in Bangor Cathedral.
