Frederick II Count of Luxembourg

Frederick II Count of was born in 1006 in Luxembourg.  Frederick II Count of's father was Frederick I Count of Salm & Luxembourg and his mother was Irmentrude of Gleiberg.  His paternal grandparents were Siegfried Count of Luxembourg and Hedwig of Nordgau; his maternal grandparents were Herbert I Count of Gleiberg and Irmentrude of Avalgau. He had a brother and three sisters, named Giselbert I Count of Salm Longwy &, Irmtrud Judith Countess of, Ogive of and Gisele of.  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 59 on August 28th, 1065.  He was buried in Duke of Lower Lotharingia.
