Patrick de Chaworth, in the 54th Henry III [1270], joining the [8th] Crusade, attended Prince Edward to the Holy Land. He m. the Lady Isabel de Beauchamp, dau. of William, Earl of Warwick, and d. in 1382, leaving by her (who m. 2ndly, Hugh le Despenser), and only dau. and heiress, Maud de Chaworth, who m., Henry Plantagenet, Earl of Lancaster, nephew of King Edward I.
