William III de was born about 1230 in Amesbury, Wiltshire, England.  William III de's father was William II Longespee , Sir Knight and his mother was Idoine de Camville. He had a brother and two sisters, named Richard, Ida de and Ela.  He was the second youngest of the four children.  He died in Blyth, Nottinghamshire, England.
