Thomas was born on June 26th, 1797 in Vale, Guernsey. Thomas' father was Thomas LE POIDVIN and his mother was Rachel LE POIDVIN. His paternal grandparents were Thomas LE POIDVIN and Marie SEBIRE; his maternal grandparents were Pierre LE POIDVIN and Rachel SEBIRE. He had four brothers and a sister, named Jean, Daniel, Michel, Henry and Rachel. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 77 on May 12th, 1875 in Barras, Vale, Guernsey.-
