Jean LE POIDVIN 
Jean was born on February 8th, 1779 in Vale, Guernsey. Jean's father was Pierre LE POIDVIN and his mother was Rachel SEBIRE. His paternal grandparents were Pierre LE POIDVIN and Marthe ROBERT; his maternal grandparents were Jean SEBIRE and Rachel LE PATOUREL. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Pierre, Thomas, Daniel, Michel, Moise, Rachel, Marie and Marthe. He was the third oldest of the nine children.-
