John Ap JENKEN 
John Ap was born about 1368 in Of Wernddu, Mon, Eng. John Ap's father was Guillem Ap JENKEN and his mother was Gwenlian Verch HOWEL. His paternal grandparents were Jenken Ap ADAM and Gwenlian Verch ARON; his maternal grandfather was Howel "Vacham" Ap HOWEL. He had six brothers and four sisters, named David Ap, Howel Ap, Howell, Thomas Ap Guillem, David Vychane, Philip, Jane Verch, Gwladis Verch, Gwenllian Verch and Janet Verch. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died in 1429.-
